Christmas is in the Air

All is getting ready for that special day. Will all the presents be wrapped on time, will I have all the ingredients for that special dessert, can I make it thru Christmas eve without getting mad at my dad????? Everting will be just fine on that sweet day as we really remember what we are celebrating.

Christmas

Well it is now only 9 day til Christmas. I remember those days when I was young and the excitement of having Christmas come. It seem to take forever to get here. I remember trying to wake dad up so we could open our presents...boy would he make us work hard to get him up! I loved Christmas eve at Grandma Ollie's house.....a can of olives for each of us, a table so ladened with food that there was no place to sit, all of her pies that she had made. I am so glad that I have such good memories of Christmas. I just hope I am making good memories for my kids and grandkids so one day they will look back and remember all the wonderful memories.
