Catie's First Day in California

This is at the mission home with the president and his wife and two other missionaries. She is in Fullerton, CA and has two other companions and they go to a deaf branch. She says she just loves it and is realing enjoying what she is doing>.

We went swimming with the kids last Friday. Jeff's kids had never been to a big swimming pool and I must say they were fearless. They all kept Jenni and I on our toes!

We have been having fun with Jeff's kids. They all get together and laugh and play. It is so cute to hear Dallie running around calling caderbug to Cade.

Tribute To Mom

Although the pain has diminished some, my memories of you are still bright and clear. I think of you when times are rough and wish for a listening ear, but all you are is a prayer away smiling down on me as I ask for guidance of what you would do. I think of you at random times and realized you are watching me when I am not aware. I am so glad you are my mother and I cherish the memories we have shared, from watching me in band, although it was hard on the ears, to planning my wedding, and as each new baby was born. The advice you shared is still shared today as new ones come to our family. I learned a lot from you and it has made me a better person. I can only hope I can share the wisdom you taught. A year ago you got your wings, and I know they are being used well for you are still my guiding light. So here is a great big hug from me to you, thanks for being my mom and loving me for who I am. I love you mom!

BATH TIME

I was able to watch Jeff's kids the other day. What day wouldn't be complete without a bathtime with all the cousins!
They were so cute! I don't think they will be able to do this much longer as there was not very much room when they were all in the tub.






Bath time is such a fun time, but also a very wet time.

Thankful Blessings

Thanksgiving was a special time at my house. I had the whole family and it was wonderful. My little house was a bit small but it was overflowing with love! Here are all my grandbabies!What family event wouldn't be complete without my children and their spouses. They humored me with a picture.
Not very often are all of us girls together. I sure love them all.
Crystal and her family were a very welcome addition to our gathering.
And it sure was nice for a time when they were all quiet.
I am so thankful that I have been blessed with a family who love and care for each other. How proud I am to be their mother and grandmother. I am so grateful to the parents who raised me to appriciate family and their importance in our lives. What a lucky and blessed person I am.
